Me, Myself And I
As promised from the first solo episode, Allan is back with part two where he’ll tell you about his twenty years in corporate life, early working life, and through to the businesses he has now. This episode should give you an idea of where you need to get your mindset and your head for working full time and running your own business.

It might not be your immediate boss, it could be someone three layers above or even someone in a different department with a better career trajectory. If you help the right people in the right way then they’ll come back time after time. Make sure you’re always honest and genuine and deliver what you say you can deliver. This can work in all kinds of businesses, be the go to hairdresser or painter decorator who everyone knows does the best job
- There will come a time of sacrifice. It’s about giving up time to get what you want. For example doctors and lawyers work hour after hour to get to the top of their field. No job is truly 9 to 5, you need to go beyond that. You don’t need to work 23 hours a day but you can be the first one in and the last one to leave. Establish a pattern of consistency that people can rely on.
